I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamed I took my "new boyfriend" to my ex's place so I could feel the cats, and my ex woke up and started pitching this crazy fit complete with screaming and crying and throwing things. I kept thinking - my god, what a big baby; I can't believe I thought he was strong. Then I left the room to feed the cats and when I came back my boyfriend had a bloody mouth and my ex had bruises along his side/back. My ex was asking my bf if he had seen some stupid commercial, and before my ex could demonstrate the commercial, my bf picked him up and body slammed my ex into the ground, at which point my ex ran away crying.

It was all pretty humiliating and I woke up feeling kind of ...icky, I guess, both about my ex's behavior and my boyfriend's, but hey, at least the kitties got fed! There was more to the dream where some stuff happened with my bf and his mother and then I went back to my ex's alone and started cleaning (huh??) and he was helping but "doing it wrong."

Last night I (well not me but DiscordedGirl) drove 4 hours round trip to Virginia and back to pick up a used Australian saddle. I'm going to be picking up another one from New Jersey when I go to PA next week. I'm hoping the people at www.horseforum.com can help me identify it since it's over 30 years old and the name plate is missing from the cantle.

I'm off to PA next Friday!

EDIT:  I decided to name my Pintaloosa mare Mudslide. I was leaning toward Thistle and Shamrock (for the mystery foal) because I have Ivy and Thorn, but then I considered that cyclists/bikers call their bikes their "steeds" or "mounts" (or "iron horse" in the case of motorcycles) and the garage is the "stable" for our bikes. My bike's name is Mudsprocket so Mudslide seemed like a better continuation of "theme."
